Technology stocks are an important component of a well-diversified portfolio particularly as tech has become a mainstay at the top of the S&P 500. TECH allows investors to have a targeted approach to this sector by tracking an index with purely tech constituents. It is possible to take a view with even greater specificity through ROBO or ACDC. These products give access to technologies that are looking to have a great impact on the world from automated vehicles to precision agriculture and highly integrated manufacturing and logistics systems.
Why Invest in Future Present?
The rapid changes in how we live our day to day life and the emerging technologies that are taking over industries provide an immense opportunity for investors. The Future Present Range targets three key areas where this growth has already begun or is in its infancy. These are global technology, robotics automation and AI and battery and lithium technologies.
The Future Present range allows investment in sectors that have been traditionally difficult to access. For an industry outsider successfully picking stocks in emerging markets such as robotics, automation, artificial intelligence and battery technologies is very difficult to do given the complex nature and specialist knowledge required to fully understand much of these technologies.
While the there is a consensus that these sectors will undergo significant growth in the coming years it is difficult to know who the winners and losers will be. By accessing this theme through an ETF investors are able to reduce risk whilst maintaining exposure to the potential upside.
